The H.A.C.K. Horse Sanctuary is run entirely by volunteers -

Th become a voluteer you have to ask your self what it is you want to donate your time to, what are your strengths and weakness'  and what you can give to the charity. It would be easy just to "play" with the horses, (and any riding is done by our experienced team and consists of reschooling and training,) but that is not  just what the Sanctuary is all about. Apart from the constant and daily care of the horses, ponies and donkeys themselves, it is also a case of land maintenance, getting the hay in, mucking out the field, getting rid of poisonous plants such as ragwort, fencing, general stable repairs, and above all the raising of the funds that keep it all going. If you are honest, hardworking and reliable and are willing to partake in all the above activities then we would like to meet you, we would be inclined to use your strengths to advatage, and grow your weakness'.  You would also have to be CRB  checked.  So if you woulld like to become a volunteer then please fill in the form and sent it to us.
